Record who attended each theory topic with QR check-in.
Students confirm the specific theory lesson on their device and sign the attendance declaration. Review the session records, enter confirmed attendance manually when someone has no device, and check which topics remain outstanding in their training record.
Show students which lesson they are confirming
A name on a list can leave the actual lesson unclear. With QR check-in, the student opens the confirmation for the active session and sees the school, instructor and topic. They check those details and sign the displayed attendance declaration on their device. The resulting record connects attendance with that specific lesson. Students need membership of your school, and the code must belong to an active session. The captured signature records their declaration; the workflow does not promise a qualified electronic signature.
Handle a missing device while the class is still together
A flat battery should not leave you reconstructing a lesson’s attendance from memory days later. The instructor can record attendance manually and check its link to the session. For example, once the group has checked in, review missing entries and resolve those cases with the students still in the room. This adds the confirmed attendance to the participant overview. Manual entry requires an authorised instructor and a check that the student attended; it is not a substitute for attending the class.
Use the training record to identify missing topics
When a student asks about theory progress, the number of evenings attended tells only part of the story. Open the relevant training record and review the topics recorded. If supported attendance is missing, an authorised retrospective entry can supplement the record; then review progress again. The overview shows which topics remain outstanding for that training. Correct topic assignment matters: a custom topic can be documented, but does not contribute to the configured mandatory requirement. You establish the appropriate recording process during closed beta onboarding.
Frequently asked questions
Can a student check into the same session more than once?
Check-in checks for an existing attendance record for that student and session. Scanning again does not create an additional entry. Review the existing record instead of recording the same attendance twice.
Does check-in require enrolment in the linked course?
Active membership of the school is required, but enrolment in the linked course is not mandatory. A student outside that course group can check into the active session if the other participation requirements are met.
How do we get access?
