A recorded pass updates the matching training phase.

Recording a passed theory or practical exam marks the matching phase complete within that training record. If you correct a pass to a fail, RoadReview checks for other passes in the same record and phase before removing completion.

Connect the recorded pass with training progress

If the exam result says passed but training progress still looks unchanged, the next planning decision becomes uncertain. Record the passed attempt in the correct training record and phase. RoadReview then marks that phase complete and adds a note referring to the passed exam. Review the updated status before arranging the next training step. This depends on a reliable result assigned to the correct record. The updated status describes training progress within RoadReview; further arrangements with the school and testing organisation remain a separate task.

Consider other passes when correcting a result

Correcting an exam result can affect more than the text on the attempt. If you change a previously passed attempt to failed, RoadReview checks for another passed attempt in the same training record and phase. Without one, completion is reset; if another pass exists, the phase stays complete. For example, correct an accidental pass entry and then review the phase. First verify the actual outcome carefully. The automatic update helps keep records consistent, while you remain responsible for determining which exam information is factually correct.

Keep completion separate across licence classes

One student can be at different stages in different training records. Open the specific enrolment and review theory and practical progress in that context. A passed attempt updates the matching phase of that training, while a parallel licence class retains its own progress. For example, theory can be complete for one class and still open for another. The record shows that class-specific position. Correctly created training records are essential. During closed beta onboarding, you can review this process against the training situations your school commonly handles.

Requirements and boundaries

Completion status in RoadReview does not grant official exam admission or predict a pass. Portal registration remains a separate external step.

Frequently asked questions

How can I tell why a phase was marked complete automatically?

The progress update adds a note referring to the passed theory or practical exam and its date. Check the associated attempt as well; its recorded result remains the basis for the update.

Can I explain why I corrected an exam result?

You can add a result note when recording or correcting the outcome. Use it to explain the factual reason, then review completion. The note explains your edit, while the result determines the automatic status update.
