One student profile, separate progress for each licence category.
Find the student in one profile, then open the training record for category B, A1 or another enabled category. Personal details, school membership and enrolments stay distinct, so you can follow each course of training separately.
A second licence category belongs to the same person
When a student wants to start category A1 alongside category B, separate records can make it hard to tell which details belong to the person and which progress belongs to the course. Find the existing profile first and check your school’s enrolments. In this example, B and A1 are two training records for one person. You can then review progress in the appropriate category. Your school must have enabled that category; an existing profile does not itself create another enrolment.
Check each course before judging the overall status
A student may finish one course while continuing another. A single label saying “finished” would hide the work still to be done. Open the relevant enrolment and check its status before looking at the student’s school membership. Membership status is derived from the associated enrolments. Category and status filters in the student list help you review the wider picture afterwards. This depends on keeping the enrolments accurate: changing one course does not put every course on the student’s profile at the same stage.
Keep the learner and invoice recipient distinct
If a parent needs to receive an invoice, for example, their details should not replace the student’s personal information. Open the billing contacts in the existing record, add the intended recipient and select that contact when preparing the invoice. The record then distinguishes who is taking lessons from who receives that particular invoice. Review the recipient details before issuing it. A billing contact is used for invoicing; adding one does not give that person general access to the student file or school management.
Requirements and boundaries
Each school sees only records shared with it. We discuss storage, deletion and backup for the agreed use.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I check whether two categories belong to one student?
Find the student profile and review your school’s enrolments. Each category has its own training record on that profile, so check progress in the relevant course.
Can a parent receive invoices without replacing the student’s details?
Yes. Add the parent as a billing contact and select the recipient when creating the invoice. The profile still describes the learner; the contact does not gain general access to the file.
How do we get access?
Driving school management is in closed beta. Apply with your school; scope, setup and admission are discussed. No immediate access.
Help shape the management beta.
We discuss scope, setup and conditions before arranging participation. Applying does not activate access.
