Family · Access and conditions Available

Understand lesson costs and Family access.

If you help pay for lessons, clarify who receives invoices and how payments are handled with the school. Family supports conversations about learning; it does not show invoices or process payments.

Three questions for your school

Before arranging payment, discuss the recipient, the services being billed and the agreed payment method. Keep this separate from access to learner data.

  • Who receives the invoice: the learner or you?
  • Which lessons or other services does the invoice cover?
  • How and when should the amount be paid?

School administration and Family are separate

The management beta lets participating schools organise services, invoices and payment contacts. The school decides which arrangement applies to you. This does not grant Family invoice access or make you an applicant for the management beta.

Free download, voluntary invitation

Family is free to download from both stores. Viewing training data requires the learner’s voluntary invitation and synchronised data. Paying lesson costs does not replace that invitation. The learner can revoke access.

Frequently asked questions

Can paying parents view invoices in Family?

No. Family provides read-only training information. Discuss invoice recipients and billing questions directly with the school.

Does paying for lessons give me access to training data?

No. The learner decides whether to invite you. Financial arrangements with the school are separate from that voluntary, revocable access.

Is the Family download free?

Yes. The store download is free; your school’s lesson costs and the invitation required to view training data are separate.

Start with the Family invitation.

Ask the learner for a voluntary invitation. The Family page explains access and links to both store downloads. Discuss lesson invoices directly with the school.
