Voice notes & transcription In use

Your feedback stays available after the drive.

Voice notes preserve an explanation in the context of the lesson. Instead of reading only “following distance” later, the student can revisit the actual feedback.

Keep an explanation connected to its situation

Spoken feedback matters, but it is easy to forget after many traffic situations. RoadReview connects a recorded voice note to its context and supports review with text where transcription succeeds.

An explanation for the situation

A voice note adds a spoken explanation to a marked situation. Students can listen later and connect it with the map and mistake description. Available transcripts also make the explanation readable.

Learning points and next steps

At the end of the lesson, the instructor can record learning points and the next exercise. This summary is a separate step from a short note linked to an individual mistake location.

When transcription is unsuccessful

The recording remains available for the lesson summary. The note can remain as audio or be entered as text. A missing transcript does not have to mean losing the entire explanation.

Three steps

From a voice note to lesson review

  1. Record feedback

Record a voice note as part of the documentation workflow.

  2. Check the summary

Check learning points and next steps before completing the lesson.

  3. Review later

Review the audio and available text alongside the situation.

Microphone, connectivity and readable text

Microphone permission is required. Transcription needs a connection and can fail; its results should be checked. Recording must fit the driving situation and does not replace the instructor’s attention.

Students use RoadReview through a participating driving school. New schools can register their interest; the enquiry does not automatically activate access.

Questions about voice notes and transcripts

Is every voice note transcribed perfectly?

No. Noise, speech and connection issues can affect the result. Available transcripts and lesson summaries should be checked.

What happens if transcription fails?

The lesson summary supports a saved recording and text input. The exact handling depends on the type of note.

Can the student listen to the explanation again?

Available synced voice notes can be opened during review. This keeps the feedback in the context of the recorded lesson.

Keep your explanation available for review.
